Intergenerational Programming

Question 1

Emergent Libraries -
Emergent literacy refers to the continuous development of skills that emerge beginning in infancy until a child becomes a proficient reader and writer. The library has a distinct and vital role to play in suppporting emergent literacy.

Compnents of dev storytimes, etc.

Physical activity as well as auditory and visual astimaulatin of an appropriate nature is vital to early brain wiring.

Teens - Book clubs - Teen groups - Teen voulneters - Gaming - Spa night - Movie night - Guest speakers - career and sports subjects ( Karate demos)

Frost library going to have senior WII programming as our project starting in May and we have teen advisory committee programs schedules this summer are movie nights - gaming - spa night - bookmobile

I think this was my favorite of all of the modules. Our group went to a program at South Anchor and it was great.
